Dealing With Stress

Many of us deal with some stress in our daily lives. Much of the time short-term exposure to stress at work or at home has no lasting effect. However, some people suffer from stress on a continued and harmful basis. Long-term stress is a growing concern for medical professionals as sufferers are continually afflicted by higher blood pressure and increased heart rates. If the body remains in this condition continually; week-in week-out, than the sufferer is at a much greater risk of serious physical problems, not to mention constant mental and physical fatigue.

Hypnotherapy may not be able to remove the source of stress, but it can help reduce drastically the ill-effects of this chronic anxiety on the sufferer. Clients are given strategies, under hypnosis, that allow them to regain the necessary control over their feelings, so that short term anxiety is not allowed to grow into harmful long term stress.
